These regional guidelines have been created collaboratively with ratification through expert panels and Consultant Ambassadors. Guidance does not override the responsibility of healthcare professionals to make decisions appropriate to the individual circumstances of their patients. These guidelines remain in draft format whilst awaiting formal sign-off by the Northern Ireland Child Health Partnership
